typical price 14 October, 2026
The GMC 100 Series was the half-ton pickup in GMC’s truck range from the late 1940s through the early 1960s. These are mechanically related to the equivalent Chevrolet pickup but sold through GMC’s separate truck dealer network. The 100 Series used inline six-cylinder and V8 engines in a body-on-frame configuration that tracked the same styling evolution as the Chevrolet equivalent. These are practical, affordable American classic trucks valued for their simplicity.
Buying
The GMC 100 Series shares most mechanical components with the equivalent Chevrolet pickups, giving excellent parts availability. Cab and bed condition largely determine ultimate value.
