Ford Super De Luxe Price Guide

typical price 13 October, 2026
The Ford Super De Luxe was the premium trim level of the Ford range from 1941 to 1948. It represented the highest specification available on the standard Ford, with additional chrome, better interior materials, and equipment that the base and De Luxe models did not carry. The 1941 Super De Luxe was the most fully equipped pre-war Ford; the 1946–1948 continuation carried the same body with minimal changes into the post-war market.
The Car
The Super De Luxe used the flathead V8 (the 239ci (3,917cc) unit producing 90bhp in the 1941 specification) in two-door, four-door, coupe, convertible, and woodie station wagon configurations. The convertible and woodie are the most desirable body styles. The 1946 Super De Luxe was essentially the 1942 model with revised trim, as Ford had not had time to develop new tooling during the war years.
Buying
The convertible and woodie command significant premiums. Standard sedans are the accessible entry. Flathead V8 parts are comprehensively produced to this day.
