The Ford StreetKa of 2003 to 2005 was the open-top version of the original Ka. It was a Pininfarina-styled (and built at their factory) two-seat convertible with a fabric roof that added genuine Italian flair to the Ka’s cheerful character.
The Car
The StreetKa used the 1,597cc Zetec-SE producing 95bhp with a five-speed manual in a body styled by Pininfarina. The fabric hood was manually operated. The Winter Edition and Luxury specifications added leather seats and heated windscreen. Around 32,000 were produced at Pininfarina’s Grugliasco factory between 2003 and 2005.
Buying
The StreetKa is a charming and affordable Italian-built open Ford. Roof seal condition is the primary concern as water ingress damages the interior and electrics. The 1.6 Zetec is reliable with parts easily sourced.
