Fiat Ducato Price Guide

The Fiat Ducato is the large van that underpins most of Europe’s motorhome market. It is the same platform shared with the Peugeot Boxer and Citroën Relay, available in every wheelbase and roof height combination, and converted into campervans and motorhomes by virtually every specialist in the sector. As a panel van it is a capable and well-proven commercial vehicle.

The Car

The third-generation Ducato from 2006 used 2.2 and 2.3 Multijet diesel engines in multiple power outputs. The electronic stability programme and driver assistance systems on later third-generation cars brought the Ducato to near-passenger-car safety standards. Motorhome conversions dominate the used market; pure panel van examples are more commonly found in working condition.

Buying

Buy on condition and service history. Motorhome conversions require inspection of both the vehicle and the conversion. The 2.3 Multijet 130 is the recommended powertrain for heavier configurations.
