Fiat 1500 Price Guide

The Fiat 1500 and 1800/2100 of the late 1950s and early 1960s were the large Fiats of the post-war economic miracle period. These were the cars that successful Italian professionals drove when the 1100 was insufficient and a Ferrari was extravagant. Available in saloon and the elegant cabriolet by Pininfarina, the 1500 Spider is the most desirable survivor.

The Car

The 1500cc five-bearing engine produced around 72bhp. The Pininfarina cabriolet used the same theory as the contemporary Alfa Romeo Giulia Spider, built on the same assembly line in fact. The 1800 and 2100 used larger engines in the same body.

Buying

The 1500 cabriolet by Pininfarina is the collector’s car from this era. Standard saloons are affordable and rare. Rust is significant.
