Ferrari Mondial Generation / Variant Price Guides

The Ferrari Mondial was pitched as the practical Ferrari. A 2+2 mid-engined car that attempted to combine the V8’s performance with genuine rear-seat accommodation. It is the least celebrated Ferrari of its era and, as such, often the most affordable. Four variants tracked the car’s development from 1981 to 1993, with the Mondial t being the most developed and most desirable.

The Range

The Mondial 8 (1981–1982) launched with 214bhp injection; the QV (1983–1985) raised this to 240bhp; the 3.2 (1985–1989) used the enlarged 328-specification engine; the t (1989–1993) moved the gearbox transversely for better weight distribution. Cabriolet versions accompanied coupes throughout.

Buying

The Mondial t is the recommended Mondial; the best driving and most developed. The cabriolet is more desirable than the coupe. All Mondials share the V8 cam belt requirement.
