Dodge Viper ZB 1 (2003–2006) Price Guide
-
typical price 17 October, 2026
The Dodge Viper ZB1 of 2003 to 2006 was the most significant Viper update to that point. It is a substantially revised car with a new frame, improved body structure, better aerodynamics, and the SRT-10 designation that placed the Viper firmly within Chrysler’s Street and Racing Technology performance programme. Output rose to 500bhp.
The Car
The ZB1 used a revised 8,285cc V10 producing 500bhp and 525lb ft of torque – up from 450bhp in the preceding SR2. The new chassis was 20% stiffer. Both roadster and coupe body styles continued. The Viper Competition Coupe, a lightly modified track version, was offered for SCCA racing. For the first time, the ZB1 offered optional side curtain airbags which was a concession to practicality that the purists noted with concern.
Buying
The ZB1 is the most developed of the first-generation Viper family; 500bhp, improved chassis, better build quality than the SR cars. The coupe remains the preferred body style with buyers.
