Citroen C5 X Price Guide
-
typical price 13 October, 2026
The Citroën C5 X is the current flagship Citroën. It comes in the guise of a large fastback crossover that revives the C5 nameplate in a body that blurs the boundaries between saloon, estate, and SUV. The progressive hydraulic cushion suspension and Advanced Comfort seats give it the same remarkable ride quality as the C5 Aircross in a longer, more aerodynamic package.
The Car
Launched in 2022, the C5 X uses 1.6 PureTech 180 petrol, 1.5 BlueHDi 130 diesel, and a plug-in hybrid combining a 1.6 THP with a 110bhp electric motor for 225bhp total. The fastback body provides a large boot with a reasonable tailgate aperture. The hydraulic cushion suspension and Advanced Comfort seats make long-distance motorway travel genuinely relaxing.
Buying
The plug-in hybrid is the recommended specification, providing decent EV range for urban use with an efficient petrol for longer journeys. The 1.5 BlueHDi is the diesel choice. The Citroën C5 X is the most refined Citroën currently on sale and significantly undervalued relative to its ability.
