Chevrolet Corvette C8 (2020–) Price Guide

typical price 7 October, 2026

The Corvette C8, launched in 2020, is the most significant Corvette since the original. It is the first production Corvette with a mid-mounted engine, transforming the car’s handling balance and putting it in direct competition with European supercars that cost two or three times as much. The base Stingray at around £65,000 outperforms cars at £150,000 from rivals who have been refining their formula for decades.

The Car

The C8 uses the LT2 6.2-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 490bhp in a mid-engine layout with a dual-clutch automatic. The Z06 uses a flat-plane-crank LT6 5.5-litre naturally aspirated V8 producing 670bhp at 8,600rpm; the most powerful naturally aspirated production V8 ever made. The E-Ray adds a front electric motor for hybrid all-wheel drive. No manual gearbox is offered on any C8 variant.

Buying

The base Stingray is exceptional value by any supercar standard. The Z06 is the performance pinnacle. The absence of a manual gearbox is the C8’s only significant limitation for driving purists. The Chevrolet dealer and specialist network supports the C8 fully. Current production with strong residuals.
