The G26 Gran Coupe, launched in 2020, continued the four-door fastback formula on the CLAR platform with the updated engine range including the M440i’s B58 straight-six. It added a new M4 Competition Gran Coupe variant, the first time a full M Gran Coupe had been offered in the 4 Series range.
