typical price 17 October, 2026
The Brooklands saloon, produced from 1992 to 1998, was a naturally aspirated 6,750cc Bentley positioned as a more traditional alternative to the turbocharged Turbo R. It occupied the space between the base Eight and the performance models, offering the full Bentley experience without the Turbo R’s sporting intent.
The Car
The Brooklands used the 6,750cc V8 in naturally aspirated form producing around 215bhp. This as significantly less than the Turbo R but with a more relaxed and refined delivery that suited the car’s grand touring character. The specification was comprehensive with hand-finished interior, chrome exterior trim, and the full complement of standard equipment. Around 1,257 were built.
Buying
The Brooklands saloon is among the most affordable ways into a Bentley V8 saloon from this era. The naturally aspirated engine is simpler to maintain than the turbocharged alternatives.
