Bentley Brooklands Generation / Variant Price Guides
The Brooklands name has appeared twice in Bentley’s history: the R Series Brooklands saloon of 1992–1998, and the extraordinary limited-edition Brooklands Coupé of 2008–2011. Both honour the Surrey circuit where the Bentley Boys established their legend in the late 1920s. The two cars are entirely different in character and price.
Two Eras
The Brooklands saloon of 1992 was a specification of the standard Mulsanne body with the naturally aspirated 6,750cc V8. A traditional, unhurried Bentley saloon positioned below the Turbo R in the range. The Brooklands Coupé of 2008 was a strictly limited 550-unit hand-built grand coupé at over £240,000, using a 6.75-litre V8 producing 530bhp. The two share only a name.
Buying
The saloon offers accessible traditional Bentley ownership. The Coupé is a collector’s piece.
