Austin A50 Price Guide

typical price 14 October, 2026

The Austin A50 was the smaller-engined version of the Cambridge family, produced from 1954 to 1957. It used a 1,489cc B-series engine, providing adequate performance for family motoring at a lower price than the six-cylinder Westminster.

Buying

The A50 is rare and primarily of interest to BMC enthusiasts. The B-series powerplant is well-supported by the MGB and wider BMC specialist community, which keeps spares readily available. Rust is the primary concern. The A50 was replaced by the A55 Cambridge, which continued the Pininfarina-styled body through the early 1960s.
