The data above is based on information retrieved from actual, real-world Audi Q7 sales listings. Our AI agents try to correct obvious mistakes sellers make, such as incorrect engine capacities, but some may still fall through.

The 4M Q7, launched in 2015, shed around 325kg over the 4L through aluminium construction on the MLB Evo platform. This Ozempic level weight loss transformed the Q7 from a large, capable but slightly ponderous SUV into a genuinely agile seven-seater. It remains one of the best large premium SUVs available.

The Car

The 4M uses 2.0 TFSI, 3.0 TFSI, and 3.0 TDI engines, with the SQ7 using a diesel V8 with electric compressor in the original version before switching to a petrol V8 twin-turbo. Four and five-seat configurations were added alongside the standard seven. Air suspension with active anti-roll system optional on higher specifications. Virtual cockpit and MMI navigation standard from mid-range upwards.

Buying

The 3.0 TDI 272bhp Quattro is the outstanding daily-use specification. The SQ7 is covered separately. The Audi 4M Q7’s weight reduction over the 4L is genuinely noticeable in dynamics and fuel economy. Air suspension inspection remains the priority; the more complex 4M system with adaptive anti-roll requires specialist diagnosis.
