Audi A7 Generation / Variant Price Guides

The Audi A7 is the Sportback executive car; a four-door fastback that combines the practicality of the A6 with a roofline that makes it arguably the most stylish car in Audi’s range. It has always attracted buyers who consider the A6 saloon too anonymous and the A5 too small.

The Range

Two generations cover 2010 to 2024. The original 4G and the current 4K. Both use A6-derived platforms in a more steeply raked body with a practical hatchback tailgate. The S7 and RS7 performance variants have run throughout. The A7 has consistently sold in smaller volumes than the A6, making it rarer on the used market and generally holding values better.

Buying

The A7 commands a premium over an equivalent A6 both new and used, justified primarily by the styling. Practically, the two are interchangeable. The RS7 in either generation is a genuine performance car that happens to have five seats and a boot.
