The Audi A6 e-tron is Audi’s electric executive car — using the PPE platform co-developed with Porsche to deliver the A6‘s grand touring character in a fully electric package with 800-volt architecture and genuine long-range capability.

The Car

Launched in 2024, the A6 e-tron uses a 100kWh battery with single or dual-motor configurations producing between 228 and 551bhp. The 800V architecture enables up to 270kW DC charging, adding 310km of range in 10 minutes. Available as Sportback fastback and Avant estate. The Sportback’s 0.21 Cd drag coefficient enables up to 750km WLTP range. Rear-wheel steering, air suspension, and matrix OLED rear lighting are available.

Buying

Currently in production. The A6 e-tron is the electric continuation of the A6 nameplate and the benchmark for premium electric executive cars at its price point. The Avant adds estate practicality to the zero-emission package. The Audi 800V architecture and PPE platform give it a meaningful real-world advantage over rival 400V systems in charging speed.
