The data above is based on information retrieved from actual, real-world Audi A5 sales listings. Our AI agents try to correct obvious mistakes sellers make, such as incorrect engine capacities, but some may still fall through.

The F5 A5, launched in 2017, moved onto the MLB Evo platform and brought a cleaner, more restrained design while substantially improving the driving experience. Better steering feel, more composed ride, and a wider engine range that included the new 3.0 TDI and a twin-turbo V6 for the S5.

The Car

The F5 used 2.0 TFSI in 190 and 245bhp forms, the 3.0 TFSI 354bhp in the S5, and the RS5 using a 2.9-litre twin-turbo V6 producing 450bhp. The S5 switched from supercharged to turbocharged V6; less aurally dramatic than the 8T but more broadly capable. The 3.0 TDI 286bhp is one of the finest diesel powertrains available in this class. Virtual cockpit became standard on higher-spec variants.

Buying

The Audi 2.0 TFSI 190bhp is the entry point and adequate; the 245bhp is the better choice if budget allows.
