The data above is based on information retrieved from actual, real-world Aston Martin DBX sales listings. Our AI agents try to correct obvious mistakes sellers make, such as incorrect engine capacities, but some may still fall through.
The DBX is Aston Martin’s first SUV, a car that purists dreaded and the company’s accountants demanded. Built at a new factory in St Athan, Wales, it uses the Mercedes-AMG 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 in a body that manages to look distinctively Aston despite the SUV proportions.
The Range
The original DBX produced 542bhp. The DBX707 of 2022 raised output to 697bhp, making it briefly the most powerful production SUV in the world. Both use a nine-speed Mercedes automatic and all-wheel drive. The 707’s performance is absurd: 0–62mph in 3.3 seconds from a car weighing 2,245kg.
Buying
The DBX has depreciated significantly, making it a relatively accessible route into Aston ownership. The AMG engine is well-supported through the Mercedes dealer network. The St Athan build quality has generally been praised. The DBX707 is the one to seek out if performance matters. The Rapide was Aston’s previous attempt at a practical four-door, but the DBX outsold it almost immediately.
