The AC 16/90 was the most powerful pre-war AC, produced from 1936 to 1939 with the Weller OHC six tuned to produce approximately 90bhp. It was the flagship of AC’s late-1930s range, offered in competition-oriented specifications that reflected AC’s sporting ambitions.

The rarest of the pre-war AC range. The 16/90 represents the peak of development for the Weller six-cylinder before the war interrupted production. Any surviving example connects directly to the engineering lineage that would eventually produce the Ace and the Cobra. These are museum-grade collector’s cars of the highest significance within the AC marque.
