The AC 16/66 was a touring car produced from 1933 to 1936, using a 1,991cc version of the Weller overhead-cam six-cylinder engine. The model designation followed the RAC horsepower rating system of the period.

Today

The 16/66 is a rare pre-war AC that appeals to collectors of 1930s British sporting machinery. It sits in the middle of AC’s pre-war range, between the smaller models and the more powerful 16/80 and 16/90 variants that followed. Any surviving example is a piece of significant British motoring heritage.
