The Abarth OT 1300 was a larger-engined variant of the OT 1000, using a 1,280cc engine in the same Fiat 850-derived competition coupe bodywork. The additional capacity provided a useful increase in power and torque for circuit racing and hillclimb events.

Rare and sought after by collectors of 1960s Italian competition cars. The OT 1300 competed in the same events and categories as the OT 1000 but in a higher displacement class, often against cars from Porsche and Lotus. Any surviving example with documented period race history commands significant value. The OT 1300 bridges the gap between the 1000 and the spectacular OT 2000 Coupé Periscopio in Abarth’s Fiat 850-based competition car hierarchy.
