The Abarth 695C Maserati Edition is a convertible special edition from 2012 that paired the 695’s 180bhp engine with cosmetic detailing inspired by the Maserati GranTurismo. It was one of the earliest 695 special editions and the first to connect Abarth’s pocket-rocket formula with Maserati’s grand touring prestige.

Specification

The Maserati Edition was finished in Pontevecchio Bordeaux — a deep, rich red borrowed directly from the Maserati GranTurismo MC Stradale’s paint palette. Poltrona Frau leather interior in sand with dark contrast stitching gave the cabin a refinement that no standard Abarth could match. Unique 17-inch alloy wheels, Maserati trident badges on the B-pillars, a numbered dashboard plaque, and a Neptune Grey fabric roof completed the visual package. Mechanically, the 180bhp 1.4 T-Jet, Record Monza exhaust, Brembo brakes, and Koni FSD dampers were carried over from the 695 Competizione specification. An MTA automated manual was offered alongside the five-speed manual — choose the manual.

Buying

The Maserati Edition was produced in limited numbers and the Pontevecchio Bordeaux paint is its most distinctive feature — immediately identifiable and unlike any other 695 colour. The Poltrona Frau leather is the same supplier that trims Maserati and Ferrari interiors, and it ages well if maintained. The Maserati connection gives this edition a cross-brand cachet that the later 695 Rivale achieved through Riva and the Tributo Ferrari through Ferrari. Verify the numbered plaque and Maserati-specific trim items are present and original.
